Someone is going to have to drag me out of here next time.
Simply put, Jin is delicious. It's affordable, fast, and ridiculously good. I've heard there are lines out of the doors in the winter, but we were able to walk in on a spring Saturday. The menu is pretty simple - pick from the variety of appetizers if you choose, ramen, and rice bowls. There are plenty of drinks to accompany whatever you choose!
The flavors have serious depth and our food seriously took 10 minutes. I have no idea how they did that. My friend went for the vegetarian combo, but I chose the Spicy Tonkotsu. Their chashu pork is crazy good; is there a way we can healthily have that every day? Note, I didn't think it was super spicy (I actually added some of the pepper at the table to mine), but I was told it was not for the faint of tastebuds. Guess years of spicy food have desensitized me. Kanye shrug.
It's still pretty cold outside (get it together, Spring), so it's still ramen time. Grab some friends and take a seat at one of my new uptown favorites. Great service, great food, great prices, and easily competes with the downtown slurp shops. Doesn't get much better that.
